By paying for your goods to be cleaned by Peters’ Cleaners Ltd. (Company Registration Number 9952953), hereafter referred to as ‘we’ you, the customer, hereafter referred to as ‘you’ are entering into the below agreement with the business.
Your items within the pods and shops are insured under our shop policies.
All payments need to be made in full before any cleaning or repairs are made.
Your items will pass through our quality control but on collection you must check your order is complete. We cannot be held responsible for any missing or damaged items that we have not been made aware of within 1 hour of collection.
Due to limited storage facilities, we have the right to dispose of items that are not collected within 90 days of them being ready unless notified by you.
Customer Service
In the extremely unlikely event that you are unhappy with our service, we require that you notify us, within 48 hours of collection, by email to enquiries@peterscleaners.co.uk. We will ask you to return the items to our pod/shop, with the relevant receipt and item/s making sure that it is still within our original plastic Peters’ Cleaners’ wrapping,
Please be advised that we will not accept back any item that has been worn or accept complaints after a 48 hour period except in exceptional circumstances and this will be at the sole discretion of our CEO, Vicky Whiter.
Claims
Liability for any reason including, but not limited to, lost or damaged items is determined by the value of the item and whether in extremely rare situations we are responsible, and what the cause of the damage was.
We will not be liable for:
Any item which suffers damage, during the cleaning process, whereby the manufacturers care label is followed and the fault is due to poor labelling.
Any accessory attached to a garment or the damage they may cause, including but not limited to; belts, buckles, buttons, broaches, beading, painted logos, leather trims, furs, zips, collars and linings. (Where possible we will stitch these back on if found)
Stains that have not been completely removed.
Slight shrinkage of curtains to the industry standard of 3%.
Damage to any items that do not have a care label.
If we feel, to get a better result, we need to go against the care label, we will discuss this with you, explain the risks, and ask you to sign a disclaimer. We will not thereafter be responsible if the item is damaged during cleaning.
Other
A sum of compensation or a suitable replacement is at the discretion of our owner, Vicky Whiter and will be replaced like for like in accordance with our records.
We reserve the right to amend these terms & conditions without notice. New terms & conditions will be made available in our shops and on our website.
These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
